How it works at Drimoleague Pharmacy
Simply call into the pharmacy or fill out the form on this page. One of our pharmacists will have a private, confidential consultation with you, assess your symptoms, and recommend the best treatment. If needed, they can prescribe medication on the spot — no GP visit required.
Please note: A consultation fee of €35 applies for all patients, including medical card holders. Standard medication costs will apply. If your prescribed medicine is allowed on DPS, GMS & LTI. You’ll be able to get this as part of the Drugs Payment, Medical Card & Long Term Illness Schemes.
Our pharmacists must refer you to a GP or hospital instead of treating you in the pharmacy if:
- You are very unwell, have a high fever, signs of sepsis, confusion, severe pain, or any other symptom beyond our scope of care.
- You are outside the age or eligibility range for that protocol.
- Your symptoms suggest a different or more serious condition, recurrent infections, or unclear diagnosis.
