Description

Benylin Four Flu Tablets contain a combination of ingredients to provide effective relief from the four main symptoms of flu: fever, body aches and pains, nasal congestion and coughing.

  • Relief from the main symptoms of flu
  • Relieves fever, congestion, body pains, cough

Dosage:

Adults and children over 16 : Take 2 tablets. No more than 4 doses per day. Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor

Children 10-15 years: Take 1 tablet. No more than 4 doses per day. Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor

Not recommended for children under 10 years

Who should not use it

Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, diphenhydramine or any ingredient; if you have high blood pressure or heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, a phaeochromocytoma, severe kidney problems, or lung or breathing problems; or if you take, or have taken in the last 2 weeks, an MAOI antidepressant. Not for children under 12.

Warnings & precautions

Contains paracetamol – do not take any other paracetamol-containing medicine at the same time (risk of liver damage). The night tablets cause drowsiness, so do not drive or operate machinery after taking them, and avoid alcohol. Ask your pharmacist if you have an enlarged prostate or take other medicines.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Do not use unless your doctor advises it.

Possible side effects

From pseudoephedrine: a faster heartbeat, restlessness or difficulty sleeping. From diphenhydramine: drowsiness, dry mouth or blurred vision. Rarely, allergic reactions.
