Each capsule contains Aspirin, which helps to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation, and Caffeine, which boosts the pain-relieving effects of Aspirin for faster and more effective relief.
Anadin Maximum Strength uses a combination of two active ingredients to target pain from multiple angles:
- Aspirin (500mg): A Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) that works by relieving pain, reducing inflammation, and lowering high temperatures or fevers.

How to take:
For safe and effective use, follow the recommended dosage guidelines exactly:
Adults and the Elderly:
- Dose: Take 1 to 2 capsules with a drink of water.
- Frequency: Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required.
- Maximum Dose: Do not take more than 8 capsules in any 24-hour period.
- Duration of Treatment: You should see a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve in more than 3 days
Children and Adolescents:
- Under 16 Years: Do not give to children under 16 years of age unless specifically advised by a doctor due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome, a very rare and potentially fatal disease.

- Do Not Take If: You have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation, or bleeding ; suffer from heart disease, heart failure, or renal/kidney failure ; or have bleeding disorders like haemophilia.
- Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Do not take if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Seek medical advice during the first 6 months of pregnancy.
- Caffeine Intake: Excessive intake of caffeine from other sources should be avoided during treatment.

Possible Side Effects
While not everyone experience them, side effects can occur and may be more serious in elderly patients.
- Gastrointestinal: Abdominal pain, indigestion, or heartburn. Stomach or intestinal bleeding can occur at any time during treatment.
- Serious Reactions: Stop taking the product immediately if you experience skin rashes, swelling of the face, vomiting blood, or passing black stools.
- Heart Health: High doses and prolonged treatment may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke.
