Gaviscon Extra Chewable Tablets relieve the symptoms of acid reflux – heartburn, acid coming back up (regurgitation) and indigestion – including after meals or during pregnancy. They work in two ways: two antacids neutralise excess stomach acid, while an alginate (from seaweed) forms a protective raft that floats on the stomach contents to help stop acid rising into the food pipe.
Gaviscon Extra Chewable Tablets bring long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. They get to work in two different ways:
1) neutralising excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort (white layer)
