Nurofen 200mg 24 Coated Tablets

Description

Nurofen 200mg Coated Tablets work where they’re needed – at the site of pain. They quickly relieve pain, reduce inflammation and lower temperature.  Each film-coated tablet contains Ibuprofen 200mg.

Dosage:

For oral use.

Adults and children 12 years and older: Swallow 2 tablets (400mg) with water, then if necessary take 1 or 2 tablets (200mg or 400mg) every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets (1200mg) in 24 hours. Not suitable for children under 12 years.

If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or new symptoms occur stop treatment at once and consult your doctor.

Do not take :

• If you have or have ever had a stomach ulcer or other digestive system disorder
• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to aspirin or to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

Please consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant , elderly, asthmatic, taking any other medicines or receiving regular treatment.

Who should not use it:

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the ingredients; if you have ever had wheezing, asthma, a runny nose, rash or swelling after taking these medicines; if you have (or have had) a stomach ulcer, bleeding or perforation; if you are in the last three months of pregnancy; or if you are under 12 years of age.

Warnings & precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart, liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, asthma, or a history of stomach problems, or if you take other medicines such as blood thinners, low-dose aspirin or other painkillers. Anti-inflammatory painkillers carry a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially at high doses or with long-term use. Take with food to reduce stomach upset. Contains sodium and sucrose.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding:

Avoid during pregnancy – it must not be used in the last three months, and should only be used earlier in pregnancy on medical advice. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are breastfeeding.

Possible side effects:

The most common effects are stomach-related – indigestion, nausea or tummy ache. Stop use and seek help urgently if you have signs of stomach bleeding (black stools or vomiting blood), a serious allergic reaction (swelling, breathing difficulty) or a severe skin reaction.
