Description

Opticrom Allergy Single Dose contains sodium cromoglicate and relieves and treats the eye symptoms of allergies such as hayfever (allergic conjunctivitis) – itchy, watery, red or inflamed eyes. Each unit is sterile and preservative-free, which suits people who are sensitive to preservatives.

How to use:

  • Wash your hands. Break off one single-dose unit, twist off the tab and use it straight away.
  • Put 1 to 2 drops into each eye, four times a day.
  • Throw away the unit and any leftover after use – do not reuse it. After opening the foil sachet, use within 28 days.
  • Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before putting them back in.

Who should not use it:

Do not use if you are allergic to sodium cromoglicate or any of the ingredients.

Warnings & precautions:

For use in the eyes only. You may get brief blurred vision just after using the drops – do not drive until it clears. Stop and seek advice if the itching, redness or swelling gets worse.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding:

As with all medicines, check with your doctor before use, particularly in the first three months of pregnancy.

Possible side effects:

A short-lived stinging or burning, or brief blurred vision, just after using the drops.
