Description

Ovelle Hydrocortisone 1% Cream contains hydrocortisone 1%, a mild topical steroid, used to relieve itchy, inflamed skin conditions such as mild eczema, dermatitis and insect bites.

How to use:

Wash your hands, then apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice a day and rub in gently. Wash your hands afterwards. Do not use for more than 7 days without speaking to your doctor. Do not cover the treated area with plasters or dressings.

Who should not use it?

Do not use if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any of the ingredients.

Do not use on the face, around the eyes, or on the ano-genital area, and do not use on broken or infected skin (including cold sores, acne, athlete’s foot or chickenpox) unless a doctor has told you
to.

Not for children under 10 without first speaking to a doctor.

Warnings & precautions

Keep away from the eyes. Stop and see a doctor if the condition worsens or does not improve.

Possible side effects

Local irritation, itching or burning where applied. With prolonged or
excessive use, thinning of the skin or stretch marks. Rarely, an allergic reaction — stop use and seek urgent help.
