Description
The suppositories are effective in reducing babies fever as well as easing symptoms associated with cold, teething, headaches. The suppositories are quick and easy to use. They may be used in place of oral medication, where the baby maybe vomiting, unable to swallow liquids or following an operation.
Paracetamol suppositories for infants aged 3 to 12 months.
Each suppository contains 80mg paracetamol. Also contains hard fat, macrogol cetostearyl ether and glyceryl ricinoleate. For rectal use only.
Dosage:
Babies aged 3 months – 12 months: Insert on suppository into the rectum up to four times daily.
These doses may be repeated up to a maximum of 4 times in 24 hours, but not more often than every 4 hours, but not more often than every 4 hours. The product should not be used for more than 3 days, except on the advice of a doctor. Higher doses do not result in improved pain relief. Only whole suppositories should be administered – do not break the suppository before administration. Use immediately after removal from the blister pack.
