Description
Hylo Dual Eye Drops are particularly suitable for dry eyes, providing relief from dry eye symptoms caused by meibomian gland dysfunction or lipid deficient dry eye.
The two ingredients sodium hyaluronate and ectoin provide intensive lubrication for irritated eyes, relieve symptoms of inflammation and at the same time stabilise the lipid layer of the tear film. Ectoin increases the water-binding capacity of the eye surface, thus ensuring a prolonged lubrication of the eyes. At the same time, sustained protection against renewed dehydration out is built up and the body’s own barrier is supported in its defence against allergens and irritants.

How It Works:
- The surface of your eye is covered by a thin layer of tears, called the Tear Film which protects, nourishes and lubricates the eye.
- Your tears are protected by a thin oil layer to help reduce evaporation and prevent tears from running down your face.
- Tears are produced by several systems, and if any part of these systems break down, it can result in a reduced quality or quantity of tears
- Tear replacement with eye drops is traditionally considered a mainstay of Dry Eye management.
- Hylo-Dual contains a natural occurring substance called Sodium Hyaluronate which replenishes the tear film and Ectoin which helps stabilise the tear film
- A stabilised tear film with a health oil layer offers protection from allergens and tear evaporation.
How to use:
- Remove the cap before use.
- Before first use only, invert the bottle and pump the base until the first drop appears. The system is now ready for use.
- Place two fingers on the base of the bottle and your thumb on the shoulder.
- Pull down your lower eyelid.
- Tilt your head back and press on the base to release one drop.
Hylo-Dual should be used according to the instructions given by your doctor or your eye specialist. Generally adults and
children 6 years and older instil one drop of Hylo-Dual three times a day into each eye. If necessary it can also be used
more frequently.
Hylo-Dual is suitable for long term treatment. Please consult your doctor or eye specialist if your symptoms persist,
begin to deteriorate or Hylo-Dual needs to be applied very frequently (e.g. about 10 times a day).
Hylo-Dual should not be used if you sensitive to any of the ingredients and in children younger than 6 years
