Description

Paralink 500mg Suppositories contain paracetamol, an effective painkiller that also reduces a high temperature. They relieve pain and fever from colds and flu, headache, rheumatic pain and teething, and can be used after an operation. Suppositories are a useful option for adults and children (from 6 years) who find it difficult to take paracetamol by mouth.

  • Paracetamol 500mg per suppository
  • Relieves pain and reduces fever
  • A rectal option when tablets or syrup aren’t suitable
  • For adults and children from 6 years

How to use:

  • For rectal use only. Wash and dry your hands before and after use. If you or your child needs to open the bowels, do this first, then insert the suppository pointed end first.
  • Children 6-12 years (20-40kg): 1 suppository per dose.
  • Adults and children over 12 years: 2 suppositories per dose.
  • Leave at least 6 hours between doses and do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
  • Not for children under 6 years. Do not use with any other paracetamol-containing medicine, or for more than 3 days without medical advice.
