Description
New Brupro For Children is an orange flavoured Ibuprofen liquid for children and babies aged over 3 months. Ibuprofen helps reduce fever and gives relief of mild to moderate pain, such as cold and flu symptoms, teething pain, headache, sprains and strains and to ease pain of sore throats and earache.

For the short-term symptomatic treatment of:
- mild to moderate pain

How to use:
Shake well before use To use the dosage syringe, push the syringe into the plug hole of the bottle and turn the bottle upside down, then gently pull the syringe plunger back until the correct dosage fills the syringe
- 3-6 months (5-7.6 kg) Give 2.5ml up to three times per day
- 6-12 months (7.7-9 kg) Give 2.5ml up to three times per day
- 1-3 years (10-16 kg) Give 5ml up to three times per day
- 4-6 years (17-20 kg) Give 7.5ml up to three times per day
- 7-9 years (21-30 kg) Give 10ml up to three times per day
- 10-12 years (31-40 kg) Give 15ml up to three times per day
Do not dose more frequently than at 6 hour intervals. For short – term use only. After first opening, use within 3 months.
Do not give to babies or children who:
- are under 3 months or babies weighing less than 5 kg
- Have or have had a stomach ulcers or other serious stomach disorders
- are sensitive to any of the ingredients
- have ever suffered from shortness of breath, asthma, a runny nose, swelling on their face and/or hands or hives after using acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other similar painkillers (NSAIDs)
- have ever had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, related to previous use of NSAIDs
- currently have or have had recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (two or more episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding)
- have severe liver or severe kidney failure
- have severe heart failure ? have bleeding of the brain (cerebrovascular bleeding) or other active bleeding
- suffer from blood clotting disorders as ibuprofen may increase bleeding time
- have unclarified blood-forming disturbances
- have severe dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhoea or lack of drinking).
Consult your doctor before use if your child:
- suffers from asthma
- is allergic to aspirin
- is receiving any other pain relievers
- is receiving any other regular treatment
Adults considering taking this product should also be aware of these factors. Pregnant women and the elderly should obtain medical advice before use.
